In a blast in Balochistan’s Sibi district on Friday, at least 16 people were wounded, officials said.
Sibi Station House Officer Wazir Khan Marri said miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at Luni Chowk on a motorcycle, resulting in 16 people being injured.
The wounded, including two girls, were rushed to the Civil Hospital of Sibi, he said. The health of the four victims was serious, according to doctors.
No party took responsibility for the attack immediately. The event is being investigated by police.
The explosion comes two weeks after the martyrdom of four members of the Sibi Scouts, the North Wing Frontier Corps wing, and the injury of five others when their vehicle struck a landmine in the Sangaan region of Sibi.
