Veteran actor Adnan Siddiqui also looks back on 2020 after Sheheryar Munawar shared his tale of perseverance, sharing everything that suddenly changed for him.
To express some hard-hitting realisations he uncovered over the year, the Mere Paas Tum Ho star took to Instagram.
2020 will be behind us in three weeks from now A most remarkable year. I don’t think we had such a faint notion when we rang it in, that three months into it and our lives would come to a stop, as we knew it A vibrant universe comes to an immediate standstill and we are still waiting for normalcy to return. No wonder, since March 2020, our most frequent refrain is when life will be back to old.

He then posed one of the most recurring questions he is asked: why does he admire the year 2020, when it has triggered a worldwide life-altering crisis?
I have always thought that a chance exists in any hardship. We just need to find out,” Siddiqui answered. “The amount of free time I had on my hands was sent by God thanks to the lockdown. I loved the languid pace at which all those months of life passed. And I paused and smelled the flowers as Mac Davis crooned.
The Mom actor also disclosed how with the amount of time he spent at home, the year triggered a transition in his family dynamics, with a father learning to get his mind around the teenage crisis, as well as an actor taking time out for himself.
My children were the best to have me for about 24 hours, and when coping with millennials, I would like to see myself as a more patient and smarter mom. I completed a book that had been teasing me for years for leaving it in between. Caught up dreaming, he wrote poems.
Perhaps most of all, 2020 has enlightened me with a modern life outlook. In a broader structure of things, to embrace it. I discovered that man will never overpower nature, even though he fancies himself as omnipotent. He concluded that 2020 also taught me to calm down a little, keep my loved ones tighter, pray a little longer, and never take life for granted.
We’re happy to see that Siddiqui has made the best of the situation and continues to develop as a person.
Around the same time, we still know that only a handful can afford the privileges of catching up on sleep and composing poems this year Even if what you could do this year was take it one day at a time and do the bare minimum, we’re equally proud of you.
