4 people were killed as well as 47 were injured in a gas surge at a BBQ restaurant in China on Thursday, the local government claimed.

The surge in northeastern Shenyang city smashed the windows of close-by buildings and also stopped traffic, state media stated.

Nothing was left of the dining establishment except exposed structural light beams, according to videos distributing on Chinese social networks.
