At least 5 people were killed and more than 15 injured when a van bring mourners to a Chehlum procession came under a drain in Nagar area of Gilgit-Baltistan, authorities stated.
According to Rescue 1122 Gilgit spokesperson Tariq Aziz, the van satisfied the heartbreaking mishap when it was bargaining a narrow contour near Danyore bridge at Karakoram Highway as well as resultantly plunged into a drainpipe, causing the death of 5 people as well as hurting over a dozen.
