MNA, televangelist, star of the movie. Is your resume as varied as that of Aamir Liaquat?
His repertoire is being expanded to include acting by the vibrant PTI MNA remembered for his Ramzan transmissions. If you do not count the trailer for his 2016 Pak Ramazan, in which he played a martyred soldier, this will be his first time dipping his toe into the acting world.

He’ll be starring in Bas Corona, a pandemic comedy made for TV. Talking to Images, Liaquat said it was during the lockdown “about the problems and children that sprung up”
In the movie, actress Nausheen Shah plays his wife, while veteran actors Qavi Khan and Saba Faisal play their parents.
Gold Bridge Media produces Bas Corona which will debut on Express Entertainment.
Syed Sajjad Haider Zaidi wrote the film, but Liaquat even wrote a couple of the lines for the film himself.

He described it as a fascinating film about the “private and domestic” situation generated during the pandemic in a building.
Tuba Aamir, the wife of Liaquat, made her TV acting debut with Bharaas on ARY Digital in December.
The pair both know what it’s like during the pandemic to be coopted up at home together back in November they tested positive for the coronavirus.
