Rawalpindi: Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa reiterated on Thursday the utmost support and devotion of the Pakistan Army to the Kashmir cause and the people of Kashmir.

He acknowledged this during a meeting in Rawalpindi with Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s Prime Minister, Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Army chief.
The two addressed matters of mutual interest , especially the situation along the Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) Line of Control and Indian Illegally Occupied.

Gen Bajwa said on November 4 that the Pakistan Army will continue to ensure the security and safety of the civilian population along the Line of Control ( LoC) in the midst of unprovoked Indian troop aggression.
According to a statement released by the military’s media arm, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), he said this while visiting the headquarters of the Rawalpindi Corps on Wednesday.

A detailed briefing on the prevalent situation along the de facto frontier and the tactical preparedness of the formation was issued to the army chief.
