Asad Umar questioned England: ISLAMABAD: Federal Priest for Planning, Advancement, Reforms and Special Initiatives Asad Umar has questioned the England federal government’s choice of putting Pakistan on the red list in the middle of COVID-19 situations.
In his Tweet, Asad Umar said, “Every nation has a right to take decisions to secure the health of their residents.”
“Nevertheless, the current choice by UK govt to include some countries consisting of Pakistan on the red listing increases a legitimate question whether selection of countries is based on scientific research or diplomacy,” he added.

Earlier on Friday, the United Kingdom (UK) had added more countries consisting of Pakistan and Bangladesh to its red list from April 9– 2021 in order to suppress the spread of COVID-19 variants worldwide.
The British authorities had added Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines as well as Kenya to its red listing to be efficient from 4:00 am (local time) Friday, April 9– 2021 for applying traveling bans on visitors from the countries.
