In an explosion at Turbat’s Cinema Bazaar in Balochistan on Sunday, at least four people were injured, police officials said.
The wounded were transported for medical care to District Headquarters Hospital, Turbat, while police and Frontier Corps (FC) forces cordoned off the area and began investigations.

It is suspected that the attack was carried out by terrorists trying to strike an FC check post, a police station,
The incident comes less than three months after a Pakistan Army soldier committed martyrdom and killed three others in an attack on a security forces patrol group near the Jhaki post in Turbat.
The terrorists had opened fire on the patrolling group of the security forces some 35km southeast of Turbat. Lance Naik Waseem Ullah was martyred during the subsequent exchange of fire and three other soldiers suffered injuries, a press release from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
In August, in a roadside explosion in Turbat’s Absar district, a student was killed and three FC personnel were wounded. When the FC convoy entered the area, an improvised explosive device was detonated by a remote control.

Similarly, at least one person was killed in July 2020, while seven others were wounded in an explosion in the Turbat sector, which was also triggered by an IED mounted on a motorcycle.
