Like Thor’s former rivals, Hela (Cate Blanchett) and his adoptive brother, Loki (Tom Hiddleston), the sister he didn’t know he had, Gorr the God Butcher has several problems that can only be fixed by years of counselling.
He inherits divine powers and vows until his entire family dies to kill the gods as vengeance for not protecting them instead. He has a tradition of brawls in both Thor and Loki in the comics. Thor: Love and Thunder opens in theatres May 6, 2022, which is after Spider-Man 3 comes out in December 2021 for the record, and we actually know what they’re doing with Doc Ock, Electro, and, allegedly, everything else from the previous franchises of Spider-Man.

Details of the plot remain a secret, although the disclosure of the main character may provide an indication of where the storey will go.
