ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), the leader of Pakistan’s ruling government, and Malik Mohammad Amir Dogar, its chief whip in the National Assembly, as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs (SAPM).
A notice to that effect was issued by the Prime Minister’s Office on Friday.

Following the appointment of Mr. Dogar as special assistant to the prime minister, the cumulative number of members of the federal cabinet increased to 52-27 federal ministers, three state ministers, 17 SAPM and five advisors.
