ECP accused of keeping PTI bank accounts hidden: ISLAMABAD: The Political Election Payment of Pakistan’s Examination Board was on Wednesday accused of maintaining the initial PTI savings account declarations hidden from examination, as the perusal of PTI accounts which was to conclude on Wednesday was expanded by 3 hrs for Thursday.
This was done to complete 40 hrs of perusal permitted by the ECP in its order of April 14.
The petitioner, Akbar S Babar, submitted another application for examination of original PTI financial institution declarations which he declared are being kept secret by the Scrutiny Board from the perusal process, sources stated.
The petitioner has asked for 3 even more days for examination of initial records.
He claimed that a single initial PTI bank declaration has been permitted perusal consisting of the 23 PTI bank declarations requisitioned by the State Financial Institution of Pakistan.
It was found out that in October 2018, one member of the original Examination Committee had required solutions from the PTI on numerous bucks received in those accounts. Rather than offering answers, ironically the auditor was removed from the board.
In the fresh application, the petitioner has required three even more days from Might 24 to 26 for perusal of initial PTI bank declarations.
The perusal process ends on Thursday, nonetheless, the ECP has yet to choose the application by the petitioner looking for perusal of original PTI bank statements.
Later on, speaking to the media after the verdict of the day’s process, Babar said facts might not be concealed for long, firmly insisting that it was the ECP Scrutiny Committee’s mandate to expose facts. “Instead it chose to hide realities.
If the petitioner can peruse PTI papers in 40 hours, why did it take control of three years for the Scrutiny Board,” he competed and stated political celebrations are baby rooms of management.
Had the ECP and its committee played its constitutional function in establishing truths as well as choosing quality, Pakistan would have been spared from a leadership in power that was neither competent neither efficient in running the state.
