The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) sends musician Atif Aslam a tax notice worth Rs58 million, said Express PK. According to local media sources, the FBR reportedly sent him 58 million tax notices after auditing the singer’s 2018 revenue.
A month’s extension for paying the dues was the Tu Janay Na crooner. According to news, his bank accounts will be frozen and the FBR will reclaim the tax from his frozen accounts if he fails to pay the tax within a month.
It should be remembered that it is not the first time an artist has appeared on the FBR radar. The FBR opened an inquiry into the sources of income of singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in October 2020.
