KOHAT: Five people were killed, including two brothers, and three others were wounded, including the groom, when competing parties came face-to – face at a wedding party and began shooting here on Sunday.
The shooting incident took place in the Kohat district of Kaghazai. As a result, Qaiser Mohammad and Niaz Mohammad’s daughters, Junaid Khan’s nephew, and Qasimur Rehman and Abdur Rehman’s passers-by died on the spot.
The wounded were held with weapons, including Groom Asheed, Tor Gul and Isfandyar. Mirza Ali told the local police that they had opened fire on the Mujahid party, taking the lives of his two sons, Qaiser and Niaz, and three others.
Three Kalashnikovs, two handguns, one rifle, five pistols and ammunition were found in the capture.
In another incident, the Tirah tribesmen of Saood Badshah and his son Hashmat Khan, living in Dheri Banda, Kohat District, were killed with batons in a children’s dispute. One Rehman, too, was wounded in the attack. Nizam Khan and Ikram Khan were nominated in the case by a cousin of the deceased.
The wounded were transferred to hospitals in Kohat and Peshawar.
