Hadiqa Kiani, working with veteran names such as Nauman Ejaz and Sania Saeed as well as emerging stars such as Iqra Aziz and Faryal Mehmood, is all set to make her acting debut with Raqeeb Se, a passionate project to indulge her artistic expression.
It seems like the Hona Tha Pyaar singer is loving every bit of the venture, judging by the updates on social media.
She recently took to the social media to upload a video from the set behind the scenes, where she can be seen enjoying a duet with none other than Sania Saeed.
“While on set for Raqeeb Se, the legendary Sania Saeed and I had an impromptu singing session,” Hadiqa wrote excitedly.
“Such a genuine and beautiful soul, it has truly been an honour filming with her and the whole team these past few months,” she said, all thanks for making her debut experience so great for the team.
Hadiqa had previously spoken about the relationship between the pair thriving, even though the cameras weren’t rolling.
There was a lot of chemistry. It was just so bonded and well-knitted when we were on the plays talking about our lives, thoughts, everything we go through. Like a world that is new. It’s a new universe that I never imagined I’d feel so happy in. I will always tell them all.
Hadiqa herself, written by her mother Khawar Kiani and produced by Ustad Baqir Abbas, wrote the OST of Raqeeb Se.
The play was written by Bee Gul, directed by Kashif Nisan, and is a production for HUM TV by Momina Duraid. No release date has been released yet.
