Lahore police notified a judicial magistrate on Wednesday that they had actually added sections related to rape in the very first information record (FIR) registered against 5 suspects in the abduction situation of four girls of Hanjarwal.
In an application submitted to Judicial Magistrate Ayyaz Rafique Lone, authorities said they thought that a person of the ladies had gone through rape. Consequently, areas 376 (punishment for rape) as well as 377 (penalty for unnatural offences) were included in the FIR, they stated.

The examining police officer asked for the magistrate for an expansion in the suspects’ physical remand so their DNA examinations could be carried out in order to complete the investigation.
