“Since an early part of her career, Bollywood actor Juhi Chawla has often worked with children but reported Pinkvilla had no fondness for children. She admitted that she still considered children an annoyance, including films such as Hum Hain Raahi Pyar Ke and One Two Ka Four.
But Chawla explained how, when she had kids of her own, her mindset shifted completely. The actor is Jhanvi’s mum, and Arjun is with her partner, Jai Mehta.
In an interview with the source, Chawla remarked, “In fact, frankly, before I had children, I had no affection for children despite making movies like Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke.” I’d find them a hassle,” she laughed. “But as I turned into a mum, I started looking at kids differently. It has changed me.’
Juhi Chawla relayed that there is nothing like a ‘great mum’ as she was talking about how she juggled her career and becoming a mother. I assume that my parents succeeded as well and I think my children see it that way, too. I see no concern with that. I still try my shooting schedule in Mumbai from my side, or if I’m going outstation, someone’s at home there, so they’re never left alone.
Often a mother-in-law or a sister-in-law will take care of me where I go. I will also make sure that the outdoor shooting schedule is no longer than 10 days at a time so that I can come and enjoy my kids. It’s not that they were going to want me to come, but it was me.’
Chawla opened up in an earlier interview about her kids being humiliated while watching her films. They are actually very embarrassed to see my films, especially the earlier ones. My husband (Jay Mehta) actually told them to watch Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke, claiming it was a pretty sweet movie.
“Arjun then asked me, “Mom, is there romance in this movie? And I was like, “Yes, it’s a romantic comedy.” He responded, “I don’t want to see romance in your films.” It’s getting really odd. So, I won’t be watching any of your shows.’ And that’s it! They don’t want any of my films to be shown,’ she remarked.
