IHC rejects to stop auction of Nawaz property: ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court Wednesday denied the requests submitted by previous premier Nawaz Sharif and also others, looking for court regulations for stopping the public auction of their residential or commercial properties deeming them inadmissible.
Divisional bench of the Islamabad High Court comprising Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri as well as Justice Amir Farooq, in a brief decision claimed the candidates have the alternate system and also they can most likely to the high court to quit the auction of the homes of the former head of state.
The court stated because of schedule of an alternating online forum the high court can not listen to the applications according to Short article 109 of the Constitution.
Earlier, Qazi Misbah, counsel for the previous prime minister, said on trial that the purpose of auctioning proclaimed culprit’s home was to force him to surrender.
