A few days earlier, when the actors Neetu Singh, Varun Dhawan and director Raj Mehta tested positive for coronavirus, the cast and crew of the upcoming comedy Jug Jug Jeeyo faced a setback.
Mehta and Varun remained isolated in Chandigarh while Singh flew back to Mumbai for quarantine. Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor, the other stars, also flew back to Mumbai as the shoot ended.
But the cast and crew have screened negative, as per the latest news, and shooting will resume shortly. “Following the protocols laid down by the state government, all the places where the trio had filmed were sanitised.
The crew remained in isolation and now that the trio has been cleared, the team is set to resume shooting in Chandigarh from December 19,” the Mumbai Mirror told a source.
On December 18, Neetu will travel back to Chandigarh and complete her shooting in five days. The majority of the crew will however, resume filming until December 30, the article said.
The source said During the quarantine period, they designed a revised schedule and will take things easy on the set to ensure that post-COVID fatigue does not take a toll during the quarantine period.”
