Lahore court grants stay in Jati Umra land: LAHORE: A Lahore court given on Thursday a stay order in an instance referring to the transfer of the Sharif family’s Jati Umra land.
The Sharif household submitted a civil suit, mentioning that Begum Shamim Akhtar was the proprietor of the residential or commercial property in question. The government was trying to “navigate the possession document of the building,” they alleged.
The court was asked for to limit the federal government from terminating or transferring the possession of the building.
“Meantime, till the next day of hearing, subject to notifications, status be kept pertaining to the fit residential property,” Civil Judge Syed Faheem-ul-Hassan Shah ruled.
However, the court removed that the injunction can be changed at any type of phase if new truths surface area.
The land where former head of state Nawaz Sharif’s house is constructed in Raiwind is declared to have actually been acquired by way of a fraudulence.
