SAHIWAL: A 10-year-old girl was reportedly abducted and killed on Saturday in Chak No 711L, on the outskirts of Harappa.
The police said a minor child, a second-grade school student, was allegedly abducted and brutally killed on the outskirts of Harappa with a sharp-edged knife. The body of the victim was discovered outside her house in a bag. District Police Officer Amir Taimur ordered Harappa SHO to apprehend the accused immediately.

A complaint against the defendants was reported, while one nominated defendant was arrested.
In the evening, the suspect, Nobahar’s daughter, a resident of Chak No 711L, a village near Harappa, went into a shop to buy something.
The family began looking for her after the girl had not come home for a long time, but the girl was not found anywhere. Later, at 10pm, two unnamed motorcyclists threw the girl’s body into a sack outside the building and ran. It was the victim’s body when the girl’s relatives came out and opened the sack.
The police moved the victim’s body to the postmortem hospital at the district headquarters. As per hospital authorities, it was discovered in the original postmortem study that the small girl was sexually assaulted. However after the final analysis, the officials said the evidence will be verified.
A case against four suspects, including two unknown persons, was lodged by the Harappa police on the complaint of the girl’s parent.
A defendant named as Mala was arrested by the police after a raid. Raids to apprehend the other three accused were also being carried out.
A seven-year-old baby, abducted from the D-Type Colony district, was killed after being raped in an earlier case on June 7. Local people discovered the body after it was dumped into a canal in the city of Dijkot. On June 5, the victim, the son of Arshad Abdul Majeed, a resident of the Allama Iqbal Colony region, under the jurisdiction of the D-Type Colony police station, went to a store and did not return home.
Later, passers-by saw the body and told the police of Dijkot, who took it into their custody and later handed it over to the police of the D-Type Colony.
It allegedly ignited outrage in the neighbourhood when the body of the slain child entered home.

The body of a five-year-old abducted boy was discovered in a bag at Saim Nala Bawa Chak by police on April 21.
The little boy had been abducted from a street near his house in Rafiq Colony 11 days earlier when he was out playing with his friends.
