Monitoring of restaurants in Karachi: KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday routed the Sindh government to devise a system to check making use of sheesha and also various other prohibited activities at restaurants.
A two-judge bench, headed by Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, was listening to a request versus using sheesha (hookah) and other unlawful tasks at a dining establishment located on Super Freeway.
“Why do not police keep an eye on these dining establishments?” Justice Mazhar asked the Sindh government’s focal individual.
The focal individual asked the court for some time to send a record in this regard, which the SHC bench approved and also guided the SHO Website Super Highway to directly see a restaurant, where the petitioner whined sheesha is being used, as well as submit a record.
At a previous hearing, the court had actually denied the police’s report on making use of sheesha at the dining establishment.
