LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Wednesday allowed time to the National Responsibility Bureau (NAB) to file its return to a reply by PML-N vice head of state Maryam Nawaz in a petition of the bureau seeking termination of bail given to her in a money-laundering case of Chaudhry Sugar Mills.
As a two-judge bench resumed hearing of the NAB’s application, Unique Prosecutor Faisal Raza Bokhari sought time to file a return of the bureau after undergoing the reply sent by the respondent.
Headed by Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar, the bench allowed the request and also adjourned even more hearing till April 28.
The NAB had actually said that Ms Nawaz had been flouting and also mistreating the bail by continually striking the state institutions with political speeches and also social media sites.
