KARACHI: The 11th version of the international tri-service mega field training workout– Exercise Cormorant Strike 2021– wrapped up in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on Friday.
According to information received here, the Pakistan Navy’s Unique Service Team (SSG) participated in the workout carried out under the auspices of the Sri Lankan Military at Infantry Training Center, Minneriya.
Previously, Exercise Director, Commander of Book Strike Corps, Maj Gen Harendra Ranasinghe, invited the Special Workflow Forces (SOF) from Bangladesh, India, Maldives and Nepal, among others.
The workout was specifically developed to trade professional knowledge in the SOF domain. The objective of the exercise was to construct synergy, reinforce army connections and also enhance interoperability amongst the SOFs of participating countries.
The multinational workout’s concentrated procedures included anti-terrorism operations, calamity alleviation reconnaissance objectives, riverine operations and also counter-terrorism in maritime domain.
The expert experience acquired during the workout will be gratifying in conduct of joint procedures versus typical dangers and also will certainly enhance cooperation amongst the getting involved countries.
