The PDM leaders denounced the government and its policies, speaking to members of the rally, stating that new rulers who had vowed to bring about a change in the country were bringing the people of Balochistan corpses.
They said that in the name of maintaining stability, billions of rupees were expended, but everybody could witness Balochistan’s worst law and order crisis.
“For the rulers who always take the name of the state of Madina but force the people to starve, it is a question of shame,” they said.
The PDM leaders said the public meeting today was a slap in the face of chosen rulers who had been rejected by the citizens of Nasirabad because they faced a skyrocketing price rise, while sugar, flour and other edible products were not available on the market.
“We will never surrender and give up our nationwide struggle to uphold the Constitution, the rule of law, parliamentary supremacy, democracy and the rights of the nation’s people,” the speakers said, adding that the people needed justice, but the government robbed the poor people of justice.
They said people’s lives have become complicated because of the government’s high inflation and incorrect economic policies. “People were deprived of their livelihood by making false promises of jobs and providing people with houses,” Maulana Wasey said, adding that when the Steel Mills were closed, Pakistan International Airlines was ruined.
