PIA announces Karachi-Skardu direct flights: KARACHI: The nationwide flag provider, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), on Sunday announced to run flights from Karachi to Skardu to help with tourists.
The PIA speaker said that the nationwide flag provider will certainly operate 2 trips twice a week in between Karachi and Skardu. The PIA will certainly utilize Airbus A-320 airplane for Skardu flight procedure.
The very first PIA trip will fly from Karachi for Skardu on May 16, according to a representative.
Air Marshal Arshad Malik, Ceo (Chief Executive Officer) Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), had previously said that the national provider was intending to operate straight flights from Karachi to Skardu in order to advertise tourism.

Talking with the media, the CEO had claimed that after launching straight flights from Lahore to Skardu, the national flag carrier intending to launch Lahore-Gilgit flights too.
The national provider last month had begun straight flights from Lahore to northern locations.
On March 26, Swat’s Saidu Sharif flight terminal had invited the initial trip on Friday, after a respite of 17 years.
