Prime Minister Imran Khan has paid tribute to Madr-e-Millat (mother of the nation) Fatima Jinnah on her 54th death wedding anniversary stating “she valiantly fought for Jinnah’s vision of Pakistan”.
“Keeping In Mind Madr-e Millat Fatima Jinnah: A female of stamina & decision, she was a source of strength for her sibling Quaid e Azam, till he breathed his last,” the premier wrote in a tweet from his official deal with on Friday.
She valiantly defended Jinnah’s vision of Pakistan also when she was old as well as at a time when tyranny had actually taken over, he included.
The 54th death anniversary of Madr-e-Millat is being observed with reverence and regard throughout the country. She was the younger sis of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. She died in Karachi on now in 1967.
