Says Maryam not to be prosecuted for loving women
Introduced Sehat Card Plus service Army
SWAT: Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Friday that “like a jackal sitting in London, PML-N Supreme Nawaz Sharif is attempting to stir up a revolt in the Pakistan Army by saying it is engaged in politics and calling for the reform of the army and ISI chiefs.”
In doing so, after introducing the Sehat Card Plus programme for the residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he (Sharif) was “making India happy and proving himself to be one of Pakistan’s greatest enemies,” the PM said while addressing a public meeting at Grassy Ground in Mingora.
He said, under the pretext of sickness, Mr. Sharif had run away from the government, adding that he was a “money worshipper” and had amassed his fortune by robbing the country.
The prime minister (PML-N vice president) said that Maryam Nawaz was also publicly accusing the army of political interference. She was taking advantage of being a woman because in Pakistan, he said, women were given reverence.
Nawaz Sharif and his sons did not dare to attack the country’s Pakistan Army, and that is why they fled abroad. Because Maryam Nawaz realises we’re not going to put her behind bars because she’s a woman, she’s begun to throw venom at the army,’ he stated.
He believed that every Pakistan Army solider had made sacrifices for the country’s protection and that patriotic Pakistanis would never allow crooked politicians to launch allegations against the Army.
Rebuking the “corrupt political leaders who gathered under the banner of the Democracy Movement of Pakistan,” Mr. Khan said that after robbing the country, a group of thieves and looters had gathered and were calling for NRO.
Over the past 30 years, two major political parties have plundered the country, but now it is a critical time to take action against the corrupt and looters,’ he said.
The PM repeated that the politicians who had robbed the country would never be given NRO, and if he did so, it would be high treason for the country.
He said Gen Pervez Musharraf had made a mistake in awarding NROs to corrupt leaders, including Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif, because the country’s foreign debt had multiplied and was now being repaid by the PTI government.
The PM said no other government could achieve such an impressive deed, except the PTI administration, about the provision of free health facilities to any individual in KP via the Sehat Card Plus scheme, and the credit for it went to KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan.
“Now any family (from KP) can get Rs1 million anywhere in the world for medical care,” Mr Khan said.
For the first time in the history of the world, he added, by paying their rates in instalments under the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme, people would be able to get their own homes.
He said a new Pakistan had been created by the PTI, which was a reproduction of the Madina state model, where every person would be respected and justice would be achieved. He said the first step towards transforming Pakistan into the social welfare state of Madina was the provision of free health facilities to any individual in KP.
We have also implemented a standardised national curriculum in the region, which will provide comparable education for children of the poor and wealthy, “he said.” Court cases will be resolved in Naya Pakistan in one year as the government had amended the civil procedure act, he said.
PM Khan urged young people to pursue the path of noble people and work hard for the country’s development. If you follow the direction of Prophet Muhammad ( PBUH), you will certainly take the nation to the state of Madina, where civilization and the rule of law prevailed, “he added, adding that Muslims had dominated the world for centuries because of the Madina sate model.”
The new Pakistan formed by PTI, the prime minister said, will follow the Islamic values of the state of Madina.
He said Swat ‘s fortunes will soon change because of the development of a motorway and the promotion of tourism. By fostering tourism, Swat will soon see a surge of growth it has never seen before. “Tourism has the potential to bring rapid growth to the region,” he said, adding that fostering tourism in KP will bring unparalleled benefits to the nation as a whole.
National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, Federal Minister for Communication and Postal Services Murad Saeed, CM Mahmood Khan, KP Minister for Labour and Culture Shaukat Yousafzai, the MNAs and the MPAs were popular among those who attended the public meeting.
Earlier, PM Khan visited Gabin Jabba, a newly established tourist spot, along with the chief minister and others.
