QUETTA: On a day-long tour on Friday (today), Prime Minister Imran Khan will enter Turbat.
Turbat:
Official sources said the Prime Minister would announce a special development package for southern Balochistan, including the districts of Kech, Awaran, Washuk, Lasbela and Kharan, during his stay at the headquarters of the Makran division Turbat.
On his last visit to Quetta, Mr Khan suggested that he had proposed a special development plan for the southern districts of Balochistan.

In order to acquire information on the needs and requirements of the least developed districts of Southern Balochistan, Federal Minister of Planning and Development Asad Umer and Minister for Defense Production Zubaida Jalal and other federal officials visited Turbat and Gwadar.
Mr. Umer, Ms. Jalal and other federal ministers, along with the prime minister, will also come to Turbat.
During his visit to the University of Turbat, Mr. Khan will address the elected officials, students and elders of the Kech district.
He would also chair a meeting in Turbat in which he would study the overall development of the region and the province and brief him on various issues by officials of the Balochistan government.

The meeting will also be attended by former Balochistan Governor Amanullah Khan Yasinzai, Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani, PTI Parliamentary Leader Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind, retired Chief Secretary Captain Fazeel Asghar and other officials.
