They said the administration, by such methods aimed to pressurise opposition parties. They said the government better revoke the FIR or face the ANP employees’ wrath.
Speaking at the demonstration were ANP President Aimal Wali Khan, Sardar Hussain Babak, Dr Khadim Hussain, Danyal Bilour, Shazia Aurangzeb, Rahmat Ali Khan and Shahi Khan Sherani.
It is to be noted here that under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code, 15 Weapons Act and Section 17 of the KP Disease Prevention and Emergency Relief Act, 2020, a FIR has been reported at the Paharipura police station against district presidents of five constituent parties of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) for ‘endangering public lives’ by holding a large gathering in the provincial capital despite a large gathering in the provincial capital
Aimal Wali says such tactics can’t frighten ANP workers
The leaders of the ANP condemned and described the registration of the FIR as a move to intimidate the opposition parties. They said that the state should promptly withdraw the complaint or risk the ANP workers’ wrath.
“We are here and our people should be arrested by the government,” they said.
Aimal Wali said that as they followed in the footsteps of Bacha Khan and Abdul Wali Khan, the FIRs could not stop his party members from the correct direction.

He said that as part of its centennial celebrations, ANP will organise a major public meeting in Peshawar in January to show that no one could dare intimidate the nationalists via FIRs and put them behind bars.
The provincial head of the ANP urged the government to open all trade routes between Pakistan and Afghanistan in order to provide Pakhtuns an opportunity to earn noble livelihoods.
Instead of assigning the responsibility to the National Logistic Cell, he requested the government to activate all the appropriate departments at Torkham. He said it was necessary for both Pakistan and Afghanistan to restore peace.
Aimal Wali said that in various parts of the world, terrorists were regrouping. He ordered action around the board against the anti-state components.
Meanwhile, in a tweet, ANP Central General Secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussain also condemned FIR registration against PDM employees and said the nation will very soon get rid of the ‘chosen’ rulers.
