Police Inspector General Inam Ghani said this when addressing a meeting at the Central Police Office on Thursday. He said that the bilateral relationship between the Punjab police and educational institutions will be strengthened in order to improve students’ awareness and to ensure their capacity building.
He ordered the police officers concerned to prepare a working paper for the acceptance of the internship programme and to present it at the next meeting of the Executive Board of the Punjab Police, so that a final decision could be made in consultation with all the officers.
The IGP said that the MoU will be signed with the major educational institutions of Punjab before the launch of the internship programme.
