LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Wednesday prosecuted star Saba Qamar and also vocalist Bilal Saeed in an in 2015’s case of alleged desecration of Wazir Khan mosque.
Both suspects, present in court, begged innocent and also decided to dispute the test.
The magistrate, Javeria Munir Bhatti, guided the prosecution to present its witnesses on Oct 14.

The Akbari Entrance authorities registered an instance versus the duo under section 295 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) following a court’s direction to act upon an application of a lawyer based on law and also decide whether a perceivable offense was constructed. The section manages the offense of harming or sullying a place of worship, with intent to insult the religion of any course.
Advocate Farhat Manzoor Chandio, the plaintiff, pleaded that the duo trampled upon the solemnity of the mosque by their act which also sparked an outrage amongst the people.
The support advice said that the FIR was baseless and also in contrast to the realities. He said no dancing or music occurred at the mosque as alleged in the FIR. He claimed the petitioners were innocent as well as falsely implicated in the event for ulterior motives.
