After receiving critical acclaim for her Teri Meri Kahani and Beti television shows, model-turned actor Saheefa Jabbar Khattak is ensuring that her horizons are widened, and what better way to do so than transform her love of clothing into her new venture?
Khattak is launching her very own fashion company, Evervanna, after five long years of logistical problems.
“The concept was to use my own style and tastes to create an apparel line of one of a kind creations, open to all,” she exclaimed, in a conversation with Photos, unveiling her vision for the brand.

“I have always been influenced by the designers for whom I continue to model and pump out Pakistani fashion with exclusive clothing. In part, Evervanna is an extension of my Pakistani fashion experience.”
Khattak’s first line suggests a different approach for streetwear, noting that a massive chunk of support came from the fact that she herself has been a fashion curator over the years.

“Since Khwaja sahab is not an actress or a model, people will relate more to him,” she explained, revealing that it was tough to make clothes for him because the fittings did not sit on him as easily as they would on a model. “With that question, when we purchased our clothing, we realised the challenges a common man could face.”
She also emphasised how the fabric was incredibly important to her, which is why she selected Pakistani khaddar, made locally from a village affiliated with her husband.
Khattak proclaimed, “Clothes should be very simple, very minimal-what a contemporary woman would wear,” expressing how she would concentrate on both the eastern and western markets.
Honestly, “she said, adding that accessories, dresses, belts, jewellery will all be part of the package,” something along the lines of Zara. “But we’d never settle on fabrics — we’d never create something we’re not going to carry ourselves, so you’ll see Khwaja Sahab and I in our own creations.”
Understanding the plight of working women who struggle to find minimal, simple daily wear, the Bhool actor added that quick fashion was the key target, but without sacrificing on consistency.
Evervanna will be available to buy online while there is no outlet, with delivery available worldwide.
“The support, love and encouragement of my fans and followers have kept me moving through the years and allowed me to reach new heights with certainty and trust and start new chapters in my life,” Khattak said.
“It is a proud moment in this process to be able to debut Evervanna, and I’m excited to share it with everyone. I hope people take the mark and wear it, own it and see themselves in my clothing!”
