SHC seeks ECP reply in CM Sindh disqualification case: KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday sought a reaction from the Election Compensation of Pakistan (ECP) in a life time disqualification case versus Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah.
The Sindh High Court (SHC) bench asked the Political election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) response on the plea seeking life time incompetency of Murad Ali Shah.
Will certainly have the ability to give an action on following hearing just after taking standards from the electoral body, replied the ECP’s representative.
The SHC while summoning feedback from the ECP as well as the Sindh government on the appeal, adjourned the hearing till May 25.
The application against the Sindh chief minister mentioned that Shah had actually been invalidated by the High court (SC) on May 2– 2013 but he contested by-election in 2014 from Jamshoro. The petitioner looked for the high court to invalidate Murad Ali Shah for a life time.
