Sindh Army deployment for Covid assistance: KARACHI: Sindh’s Coronavirus Task Force on Monday suggested deployment of the armed forces in the district for support to enforce the Covid-19 SOPs.
The militaries will certainly be released in Sindh to help enforcement of the coronavirus standard procedure (SOPs) in the district, resources claimed.
“Sindh Home Division will certainly write a letter to the Ministry of Interior today to look for the military assistasnce,” according to resources.
The letter will certainly be dispatched to the federal government today for release of armed forces in Sindh, an agent claimed.
Inside Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Sunday introduced that release of Pakistan Military to apply COVID SOPs has been authorized for 3 provinces- excluding Sindh.
The indoor preacher made the statement soon in a video after he chaired a conference on the COVID-19 scenario and also examined the deployment of militaries in help of civil administration.
Rasheed said that an alert for armed forces release has been provided for three districts, Gilgit Baltistan as well as Azad Jammu and also Kashmir after the prime minister announced the choice.
“A choice on armed forces deployment in Sindh is yet to be taken,” he claimed adding that the employees of Pakistan Army would apply strict COVID-19 SOPs along with civil administration.
