Strong earthquake hits parts of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: A 6.4 size earthquake struck parts of Pakistan on Friday evening.

The Met Workplace claimed that jolts were really felt in the funding Islamabad, parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and also Balochistan districts as well as Azad Jammu and also Kashmir and also Gilgit-Baltistan.

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is in contact with all PDMAs and also obtaining updates from throughout Pakistan, claimed Inter-Services Public Relations. Up until now no reports of any type of damages reported. NDMA is analyzing the circumstance after earthquake and will keep informed the people, it included.

A Reuters record said solid tremors were also really felt in New Delhi and Srinagar. It claimed the United States Geological Survey put the quake’s magnitude at 5.9 which centred at 35km west of (Murghob in) Tajikistan.

It stated cracks were reported in some houses in India-held Kashmir as well as a witness also reported a wall collapse near Amritsar, however there were no records of casualties.
