Substantive progress made on FATF items, says FO

ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office on Friday stated that Pakistan had made substantive development on the staying items of the (FATF) Financial Action Task Force’s Activity Plan.

Working groups start conferences ahead of Feb 22 plenary session

Keeping in mind that India had troubled relations with its neighbours, he asked Delhi to embark on “a severe training course correction” for the sake of tranquility and also protection in the area.

While discussing reports of disengagement in between China as well as India after months of stand-off at the disputed boundary, he claimed: “We really hope that the issue will be solved based on the concurred understandings as well as offered system.”
