Sugar price surged in various cities: ISLAMABAD: Despite the federal government’s attempt to minimize the sugar rates as well as raise the sugar supply in the residential markets, the sugar costs across the country have risen once again to Rs110 per kg.
According to the data shared by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the commodity is being sold in Islamabad as well as Rawalpindi as well as Peshawar for Rs110/kg after a boost of Rs 5.

In Gujranwala, sugar is being sold for Rs102/kg while in Sialkot as well as Karachi it is being cost Rs105/kg. In Faisalabad, the rate of sugar is Rs104/kg, in Larkana, Sargodha, Multan as well as Bahawalpur Rs100/kg while in Hyderabad and also Sukkur is it being sold for Rs98 and 96 per kg respectively.
