The producers of the Kapil Sharma Programme, an audience favourite, have announced that the show will temporarily go off-air. After a brief break, the comedy sketches on Sony TV will undergo changes and be redesigned.
A source shared with The Indian Express that very soon the comedian will return to the screen as it is only going to be a break for a couple of weeks. In order to add creativity to the programme, the cast and crew is considering changes, which is why the channel agreed to take a break. There’s no crowd on set because of Covid-19 and the cast felt the need to improvise in order to add the extra hint of entertainment.
Also, Ginni Chatrath, Kapil Sharma’s wife, is pregnant and their second baby is due next month. The source added that Kapil wanted to take the break now so he could spend time with his family and the newborn.
