The 19th LUX Style Awards named their winners in Karachi today, honouring stars, singers, models and fashion moguls for their hard work during the year.

This was the first time in the body’s nineteen-year history that the whole judging and awarding process was performed electronically in LSA’s attempts to ensure the safety of the candidates, juries, auditors and organisers.

The winners in the Fashion, Video, Music and TV categories were also revealed in a first for LSA ahead of the virtually filmed ceremony, which is to be seen online next week.

There were also two Lifetime Achievement Awards announced. The Unilever Chairman’s Lifetime Achievement Award was awarded to Anwar Maqsood, respected rival, author and host par-excellence. The Lifetime Achievement Award in Fashion was given to Tapu Javeri, a photojournalist and filmmaker.
