QUETTA: Four presumed members of a prohibited extremist outfit, including a commander, were killed in an intelligence-based operation of the Counter Terrorism Division (CTD) in Killi Aghbarg location of the provincial funding, officials said on Wednesday.
A spokesperson for the CTD claimed the procedure was intended on the basis of intelligence reports concerning the visibility of participants of a prohibited organisation in Killi Aghbarg, a locality on the outskirts of Quetta city, in the very early hours of Wednesday.
CTD personnel subsequently cordoned off the location where the hideout of the needed extremists lay. Upon discovering this, the armed members of the prohibited organisation opened fire on the security authorities in a quote to escape from the location.
