KARACHI: On Monday, a seven-member Turkish cultural delegation called Sindh Governor Imran Ismail at the Karachi Governor’s Residence.
The delegation was headed by Kemal Tekden, the founder of the Turkish drama Ertugrul Ghazi.
According to a press release, Celal Al, a prominent actor in the drama, and other actors Mustafa, Kadir Erdogan, Kashif Hussain Ansari, Topcu Aykut Ayik, and Nurban Tekden were part of the delegation.
There were also well-known Pakistani film and television actors on the occasion, including Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, Ahsan Mashkoor, Baby Umaiya Mashkoor, Mariha Mahesar, Asif Khattak, Sarwar and Dr Saqib.
Governor Ismail congratulated the Turkish delegation on the foreign performance of Ertugrul Ghazi.
He reported that there were close ties between Pakistan and Turkey. He also claimed that Pakistan attached the utmost importance to good ties with Turkey.
The governor later presented the traditional Sindhi presents of cap and ajrak to them.
The delegation was grateful to the governor of Sindh for his hospitality.
