RAWALPINDI: US Charge d’Affaires to Pakistan On Thursday, Angela Aggeler appreciated Pakistan’s commitment to the region’s conflict reduction and the relentless support provided to the peace process in Afghanistan.

In a tweet, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations, Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar, said that during a meeting with Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, the US. envoy shared these views.

Issues of mutual interest, including the regional security situation, particularly the Afghan peace process, were discussed during the meeting.
The dignitary promised the continuing assistance of the military chief of the United States for the mutual cause of peace in Afghanistan, he said.
