KARACHI: Uzair Jaswal, the youngest of the Jaswal brothers, has been on a journey of his own, one without his family’s shadow or power Yaadaan. The 28-year-old is famous for his melodic voice and soulful songs. He did, however, try his hand at acting as well.

With his most recent song, Yaadaan, the singer is back on the scene. In the video that Adnan Aslam and Umair Mushtaq directed, the romantic track features Minal Khan. Yaadaan is very unique to him, he says. As it remembers old love and regrets, Uzair expresses how the audience can react to his new song very well. “It’s very bittersweet. With the love of your life, Yaadaan will remind you of the good and bad times; someone you hold dear. It’s a journey, one that hasn’t been finished for certain reasons. The song will take you down a memory path, and that’s exactly what I want the audience to know,” he shared. “It’s bittersweet, really.
In a perfect friendship that goes astray, the three-minute long song sees Minal and Uzair. The breathtaking cinematography and incredible locations just bring more charm to the film. All that makes us want to see them share more screen space is the very clear intimacy between the onscreen pair.
