Yasra Rizvi and Yumna Zaidi are all set to star in their next sex trafficking film.
Dil Naumeed Tou Nahi, a film by the Kashf Foundation, centres around three stories: a young female cricketer, child exploitation and sex trafficking, with lots of characters and the three lives finally integrating with each other.
Both the protagonists are victims of trafficking in human beings. Both the hardships of these characters are depicted, so child labour, child marriage, teenage women used for sex labour or domestic slavery, and the plot revolves around the difficulties they face being trapped inside the cruel system and their circumstances, said Rizvi.

An insight into her own role was also provided by the Manto star.
Yumna and I are characters who work in an exclusive brothel and go from there to parties and social events. So our lives are really important to the characters who keep moving us down that pit, namely Naveed Shahzad, who runs the brothel.
In the series, Yumna and I have a very profound friendship. Two women are usually either mothers, mother-daughters, or relatives. But these are two women who, at the hands of their destiny, are exposed to suffering and whose lives are very different from those of a typical Pakistani family. It was so fun to play it. Yumna is an actor who is really gifted and I enjoyed the process. The whole experience was really satisfying.
She also took the opportunity to laud Kashif Nisar’s phenomenal directorial abilities, stating that working with him showed to her all the reasons why his series are exemplary and excellent.
Rizvi also said that because she aims to do one serial a year and Dunk and Churails were the latest ones she wrapped, she has nothing in the pipeline serial-wise.
She’s writing a script of her own, though, something that she’s going to write about eventually. As a consequence, Yumna Zaidi talked about her past, too.
“It’s a cause-based serial and has been made with a lot of care and sensitivity,” Zaidi revealed, adding that it’s nothing like the TV mainstream serials.
“This is one reason why I’ve opted to play the role of Allahrakhi — which is what my character is named. Her journey will be followed from childhood all the way till she grows up.”
She also added what it was like to collaborate with the Churail star while learning about her experience.
“Working with Yasra Rizvi is always an excellent experience. She might have entered the industry late, but she is extremely talented when it comes to doing justice to any given role whatsoever,” she said. “I really appreciate all her skills — both acting and writing.”
The Dar Si Jati Hai Sila star, disclosing that she was initially reluctant, also stated the process of saying yes to the part.

At first, I was very uncertain about playing the part of someone who would ultimately become a prostitute. But Allahrakhi is the storey of a girl from the village and her struggle. So it was a totally different experience to shape this character. I hope and wish that through this, she concluded, we will communicate a constructive lesson to our audience.
Other famous names in the ensemble cast, directed by Kashif Nisar and written by Amna Mufti, include Nauman Ejaz, Samiya Mumtaz, Wahaj Ali and Omair Rana.
